Biography | |||||||||||
Téléphone was a French rock band formed in 1976 by Jean-Louis Aubert (singer/guitarist), Louis Bertignac (guitarist/singer), Corine Marienneau (bass/singer) and Richard Kolinka (drums). Téléphone’s first, self-titled album, was released in 1977; by the end of the decade they were one of the biggest French rock bands around, opening shows for The Rolling Stones in Paris, Quebec, the United States and Japan. Among Téléphone’s best-known songs are « Hygiaphone », « Métro C’Est Trop », « La Bombe Humaine », « Argent Trop Cher », « Ça (C’Est Vraiment Toi) », « Cendrillon », « New York Avec Toi » and « Un Autre Monde ». Téléphone split in 1986 for personal reasons. From 2013 to 2015, group members met for different concerts as “Les Insus” with Aubert, Bertignac and Kolinka but without Corine Marienneau replaced on bass by Aleksander Angelov. Continue Reading · From RFI Music, the radio Les Insus is the name that Jean-Louis Aubert, Louis Bertignac and Richard Kolinka have chosen for the group that sees them reunited after years of successful solo careers and ready to grace Paléo Festival’s Grande Scène in July of next year. The composers of numerous hits such as « Un Autre Monde », « Ça (C’Est Vraiment Toi) », « New York Avec Toi », « La Bombe Humaine » and « Cendrillon » are sure to have the crowd vibrating with them during this concert-event that will also mark the 40th anniversary of the founding of their original group, Téléphone, formed the same year as a certain… Paléo Festival. The most exciting rock reunion of the year. |
