Biography | |
Founded in 2007 from the ashes of the group Carving, Skip the Use released “Can Be Late” in 2012 which went on to become a gold disc, carrying off the award for best rock album of the year at the Victoires de la Musique.
Their latest album, “Little Armageddon”, – produced and mixed by Dimitri Tikovoï (Placebo, Goldfrapp) and Adrian Bushby (Muse) – came out in February and several tracks, including “Nameless World” and “Ghost”, have already attained hit status. The explanation can probably be traced to their savvy mixture of influences, stretching from rock to ska to electro, combined with a veritable message: a combat for openness of mind and against labelling people, conducted on the strength of music that is both revelatory and awareness-raising. … … Good session! Enjoy! |
