Two Door Cinema Club are an Irish indie rock band from Bangor and Donaghadee in County Down and formed in 2007.

The band’s debut album, Tourist History, was released in March 2010 by French independent record label Kitsuné Music. In the United States, where the band are signed to Glassnote Records, the album was released in April 2010. Tourist History was selected for the Choice Music Prize for Irish Album of the Year (2010) the following year.

The band’s second album Beacon was released on 3 September 2012, debuted at number one on the Irish Albums Chart and reached number two in the UK Albums Chart.

For Two Door Cinema Club fans, the last two years have been testing: no concerts, and not even a new song to have stuck in their heads. Even their Facebook page was absent between July 2014 and April 2015: an eternity for a fan. But thankfully, this leap year has finally quenched the thirst; the Northern Irish three piece have resumed their good habits, and have vowed to bring “new music, new shows, new everything”. Having released two albums on the Parisian label Kitsune, in 2010 and 2012, and a remarkable EP in 2013, which shattered everything in their path, Two Door Cinema Club remain the best European representative of euphoric, finely polished electro-rock.
