Biography
The Leisure Society is an English folk pop band formed in 2009.

The Leisure Society’s debut, The Sleeper, was released in 2009. “The Last of the Melting Snow”, delicate album opener and lushly orchestrated first single from the record, was nominated for an Ivor Novello Award a month later.

Their third LP, Alone Aboard the Ark, was issued in 2013 and charted in the U.K.

The Leisure Society returned in early 2015 with their a conceptual fourth album The Fine Art of Hanging On.

The Leisure Society’s melodies and lyrics are still sensitive, sharp and witty.
